Musician, Writer, Cartoonist, Humorist, Actor, Unique Personality...

   Michael B. Pinkey's artistry has taken many forms. He started playing music at a young age, and was already writing songs of real quality as a teenager. The unique album Dreams and Rain features many of his best songs! (Below: Michael playing in La Jolla, California.)

   As an author, Michael began honing his writing craft fairly early, as well, including while he was in the Marines; part of his tour of duty was spent as editor (not to mention reporter and photographer) for the base newspaper in Havelock, North Carolina. His most recent novel Lost Among Shadows​ is a one-of-a-kind tour-de-force!

Much of his work is unmistakable...

   Some individuals have first become aware of Michael through his piano playing, which has been heard in many places over the years, entertaining and enlivening both young and old. Among his accomplishments is the forging of a distinctive style of swing piano. (Below: Michael at the piano, before age 20, and some years later, in his Tulsa home.)
